About Community Engagement Night

Allen ISD is excited to host our second Community Engagement Night! This event will be held on Tuesday, April 11th from 5:30 pm–7:40 pm at Boon Elementary School(1050 Comanche Dr, Allen, TX 75013). A pancake dinner will be served from 5:30 pm-6:00 pm in the cafeteria for all who attend!

This conference-style event is an opportunity for all community members to hear from district leaders on several important topics including sessions on finance, full day Pre-K, school board outreach as well as the fentanyl and adolescent felony crisis. In addition, there will be a middle school panel to discuss the transition from the elementary campus setting to middle school, and a high school panel to address the transition from middle school to Lowery. Attendees will have the opportunity to visit 2 out of the 6 sessions offered.

Students who attend will be offered the chance to attend STEM break-out sessions led by our Allen ISD STEAM ambassadors from 6:15 pm - 7:40 pm. There are only 30 slots available per age group, so be sure to get your child signed up soon before the group is full!
