We are very excited that you’re interested in participating in this year’s Science Fair! It's going to be a great time! Every student who registers for the Fair will receive a super cool locker magnet! And the classroom with the highest participation will also receive a special in-class reward from their teacher.
As you get started, you have a few choices to make in this registration survey:
- What type of project you want to do. You may choose an experimental project (answering a question about science) or a non-experimental project (researching or describing a topic).
- Whether you want to work alone or in a group (of up to 3 people).
- What topic you might want to explore.
From here, please note the following dates: - Registration: January 6-16
- Board pick-up (lobby): Tuesday, January 17 from 3-5pm, and Wednesday,
January 17 from 6-7pm
- Projects due (MRC): Wednesday, February 15 from 8:15-8:40am
- Project judging (panel of judges outside the Monroe School Community):
Thursday/ Friday, February 16-17
- Science Fair (project viewing + recognition ceremony): Thursday,
February 23 from 6:30-7:30
