We need your help with the FINAL PUSH for the Food Drive Collection that ends THIS THURSDAY. This food collection is ESSENTIAL for the students at Brookville, and these non-perishable items will be sent home with them over Spring Break to feed them while the school is closed.
Items that would be greatly appreciated:
- If sending cans -like chili, cans of tuna, can of chicken, spaghtetti Os or soup- it is helpful for the children if they have an easy to open top/lid- pull tab (many times students are preparing/eating their own meal)
- Items with protein-protein bars, peanut butter, slim jim/meat sticks
- Cereal boxes, cereal bars, breakfast food such as granola bars, trail mix, nutria-grain bars- things that are easy for children to eat at breakfast/easy to open
- Dried fruit, fruit snacks, fruit cups, a snack/on the go -food option that your own child would like/benefit from
- Bottled waters, shelf stable milk (non-refrigerated)
Please make sure donated food items have not surpassed the expiration date
