| Congratulations to our Reflections Contest Participants Congratulations to our Eagle Artists who participated in the Reflections contest this year. Gianna Furfari won Outstanding Interpretation for her visual arts piece, Planting Flowers Luca Furfari won Award of Excellence for his visual arts piece, Love Emerson Thomas won Outstanding Interpretation for his piece, Garbaginator 2000 Gianna and Emerson have moved forward to the CCCPTA level of judging. | Thank You for your Evergreen Food Pantry Donations Thank you so much for all of your donations to the Evergreen Food Pantry this week! The Pantry is stocked. While the food drive has concluded, we accept donations throughout the entire school year. You can send unexpired and unopened items to school with your child, drop them off at the school in the foyer or feel free to donate online at https://eepta.membershiptoolkit.com/form/m/174634. We are still in need of bottled water for students that forget their refillable bottles. So, we are still asking for donations of cases of bottled water please - the 8oz plastic bottles are preferred. You can drop the water off at the school during the school day. | Virginia Kindness Week is February 13th - 20th During the school week of February 14-18, students will be participating in Virginia Kindness Week by making classroom Kindness Quilts. You can help your student by discussing ways to show kindness at home, at school, and in our community. You can look forward to seeing pictures of the classroom quilts in our next newsletter! |

There is some new information about ordering your yearbook. If you have already ordered your yearbook this change will not affect you. If you use the Herff Jones site to order a yearbook you will be charged a new service fee. To avoid the service fee you can order your yearbook on the Evergreen PTA website. Go to https://eepta.membershiptoolkit.com/Open_Forms to order your yearbooks, Fan Mail, and 5th grade Dedications. A paper order form will be sent home with students if you prefer to pay with cash or check.

Volunteering during lunch is a great way to help the Evergreen community as well as say "Hello" to your own child during lunch. | Our Next EEPTA PAPA JOHN'S Spirit Night are February 15th - 17th Order all day at any of the RVA PAPA JOHN'S locations for carryout or delivery between February 15th - 17th and 10% of your order will be donated back to the school. We are still trying to get as many orders as we can for our Dollars for Dough competition, where we have a chance to win up to 10,000$!!
