Summer Ultimate Frisbee Clinics

The Lakeside Ultimate Coach Fred Perivier and Team will hold Ultimate Frisbee clinics each Wed. 6-8 pm all summer at Lakeside HS field beginning June 5. Boys and girls ages 3rd-12th grade are welcome. Parents/guardians, please complete this registration form and waiver before your child participates.

Lakeside Ultimate

Lakeside High School Ultimate is a club team. Our team offers players a chance be involved in a high school league, have fun, socialize with friends, and become a part of the Ultimate community we love.  Many Lakeside  Ultimate players play other sports or participate in other extracurricular activities, which our flexible practice schedule allows.  If you like to run, jump, make amazing catches and  throws or play lock-down D, Ultimate is for you! It's an ideal "second sport" because it improves your agility, speed and endurance.

The Lakeside Ultimate season is both a fall and spring sport. During the fall months we recruit new players and teach the fundamentals of the game (it's easy to learn). Varsity and Junior Varsity season begins in late January and continues through May. Local matches are played against local club teams including Chamblee, Decatur, Druid Hills, Maynard Jackson, Paideia, and many others. Lakeside teams sometimes travel to tournaments in North Carolina and Tennessee. In 2024 we won our first state championship!

Ultimate is one of the fastest growing sports in the country! It’s a competitive sport that combines the running of soccer with the throwing & passing of football & basketball. Games are played on a field about the size of a football field and only require a disc, a pair of cleats, and a good attitude to play. Boys and girls are welcome to play, but there is consideration underway to create a girls only team to compete with other girls teams if there is enough interest.
