Mother of 4 to restart after fire

Hi, my name is Janice and I am fundraising due to being displaced from my home on 3/19/2023 due to a fire that took place in one of the other units above me. I was at home at the time of the fire with three of my children and our dog Santos.

My unit is severally water damage and the ceiling has collapsed in certain places last that I saw when I was allowed to go inside the unit.

I am a single mother of four children who I take care of and support financially on my own. Items from my Childrens beds, blankets, toys, clothes, shoes and furniture such as our couch are all damaged or under water.

I worked hard to be able to support my children and provide them a comfortable home.

I just moved into this home a month ago exact to get away from a domestic violence situation and I have put so much money into the move as well as the home and now the majority of my items are unsalvageable due to water/ smoke damage.

I am asking for individuals help the best they can in helping me and my children to restart. We are currently staying in a hotel until we can find a more stable situation to be placed in and until I am able to find a new apartment.
